|Recommended: YesOffice Staff — I enjoy living here overall however, my experience with the office staff, particularly the woman who answers the phones, has been very disappointing. On multiple occasions when I called to report maintenance issues or problems with the building's washer and dryer, she was cold, dismissive, and even hung up before the conversation was finished.
In one instance, she called me back but had not actually submitted the maintenance request. Instead, she attempted to walk me through troubleshooting the issue in a rude manner and then again ended the call by hanging up abruptly without any professional closing.
As the first point of contact for residents and potential tenants, customer service is extremely important. A more polite, respectful, and courteous approach would go a long way. The attitude I have experienced has been off-putting and does not reflect positively on the property. If my interactions with her had been my first impression of this community, I would have seriously reconsidered renting here.

I apologize if the conversation came across as dismissive or if you felt that your concerns were not being taken seriously. That is not the level of service we strive to provide.
I did want to clarify that for issues involving the washer and dryer, we do not submit a traditional maintenance work order. Instead, we contact the laundry service company directly so they can address the equipment issue. The questions you were asked were part of the troubleshooting process requested by the company to help determine the issue and get the repair handled as quickly as possible.
That being said, the way we communicate during that process is just as important as resolving the issue, and we appreciate you bringing your concerns to our attention. We will use this feedback as an opportunity to improve our communication and ensure residents feel heard and respected.

|Recommended: YesWholesome Community — I live on the first floor. It's an older building so you can hear footsteps from the upstairs neighbor. For the price and amenities though, it's a very solid apartment complex. Safe, nice neighborhood and a great location.

|Recommended: YesNo Major Complaints — My buildings interior hallway smells awful. It definitely makes the entrance to the apartment smell weird also.
Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We are sorry to hear that you have noticed an unpleasant odor in the hallway and near your apartment entrance.
If you experience this again in the future, please report it to the office as soon as possible so we can investigate. Our building hallways should not have persistent odors, and if one is present, we will identify the source and treat the area as needed.

|Recommended: YesMaintenance Brian — I have had several maintenance requests. All of my requests have went exceptionally well. However, I have put full trust in Brian, I now request for him. My main reason is I have a dog with gates, and I have a particular way of how I set it up when I’m not home. He knows how I do it, also, my dog trusts him. When I do happen to be home when he arrives, he is extremely knowledgeable, which makes him very quick at finishing the maintenance requests. He will also, explains what the issue was but in a way that someone with no knowledge of maintenance can actually understand, he also, reassures you that if there’s anything else to not hesitate reaching out. That’s one main reason why I have been at Gettysburg for going on my fourth year.

Maintenance, grounds, and office staff are all spectacular and friendly. Very “neighborhood” feel for an apartment complex From staff, to residents, even the mailman at Gettysburg, it genuinely feels like home. I’m going to miss it

|Recommended: YesGettysburg Square Apartments — 10 10 recommend living here I came from out of state and the leasing office assured me I would be happy here and that’s an understatement. Within minutes from shopping centers, highway access and more but with the quiet living grounds that brings a feeling of safety. Amenities are unbelievable I plan on leaving no time soon Leasing office is responsive with any questions or concerns and always makes you feel like you truly are a part of the community. I love it here
